E2M Technologies: Worldwide Leader in Motion

Founded in 2007 by the former owners and lead engineers of FCS Control Systems, E2M Technologies is a specialist in electric motion control for applications demanding the highest quality and performance. The E2M ownership and lead engineers have a long history in the development and production of electric motion and control loading systems for a wide variety of applications, and having worked together for over 20 years, they provide a stable basis for long term relationships with both suppliers and customers. Now as a subsidiary of parent company MTS Systems Corporation, a leading global supplier of high-performance test systems and sensors, E2M has been able to further strengthen and grow supplier relationships, product offerings, and service and support across the globe.

Being highly focused on each customer’s unique requirements is our number one priority. We pride ourselves in providing excellent flexibility in design, responsiveness, and support starting from system design and continuing through the life of the system. Our goal is to make sure that when you receive a product from E2M, the overall integration of our combined systems goes as seamless as possible. With over 400 motion systems and hundreds of control loading channels delivered, ranging from small driving simulators and entertainment systems to commercial and military full flight simulators for rotary and fixed wing aircrafts, we can say our industry-unique approach to software and engineering is a success.

Leading the World in Motion Platforms

E2M is the only major motion system provider that’s primary focus is motion and control loading systems. Our areas of expertise include hardware design of actuators and platforms, system design conforming to all applicable standards, and state-of-the-art software development including class-leading motion cueing and extremely straight forward host interfacing.

Since the introduction of the first motion system in 2009, E2M has developed and produced more than 30 different electric motion systems, ranging in payload from 500kg to over 40,000kg, which are setting new standards with regards to simplicity, performance, reliability, support, and maintenance requirements. In addition, E2M has produced over two dozen control loading systems that reproduce realistic force feedback in primary and secondary controls for vehicles, watercraft, and fixed and rotary wing simulator applications, both civil and military.
